Pls Read & Help: a school close to my heart may have to close its doors due to unpaid grants #saveNkanyezi

A plea for help!

A kids centre that's close to my heart (http://www.nkanyezi.com/) has not been receiving their subsidy since December last year. They have been running on donations, unpaid work by kind teachers and the pension of its founder since then and are, unfortunately, in a dire situation where they may be forced to close as soon as tomorrow as they have no food to feed the kids.

You can read the Nkanyezi post here: http://ow.ly/aNu0v

They urgently need money and food, so please think back for a second: what did you spend your last R50/R100 on? Some beers with your mates? Maybe cat food or even flowers for a loved one? Did you know that the same amount of money can go incredibly far in putting food on the table tomorrow at Nkanyezi? I'm not asking for thousands of your hard-earned money (you'll need to pay your petrol bill at the end of the month) but how much money can you actually spend? And your team at work? And your company?

The banking details are below and if you're not sure where your money is going to give me a shout - I'll take you to the school and show you.

The bigger question iswhy has our government not paid the approved grants since December, and what other non-profits are experiencing this?  If you’d like to help them, and others, be heard, head over to twitter and spread the word with #saveNkanyezi.
